DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY 14th February at the Grant Arms Hotel \n08:30pm Osprey Suite \nIn February 1995\, RSPB photographer Chris Gomersall was working on an assignment in Morocco to document the Atlantic coastal wetlands\, including Merja Zerga\, a known wintering site for the slender-billed curlew.  \nDown to a single individual\, and sightings becoming infrequent\, the prospects of finding the bird and being able to get close enough to photograph it in only two days were not promising.
